4th X-Games Medal for Vito
Neff Snow Team rider and USA Olympian Louie Vito wrapped up an outstanding season by soaring to a Silver Medal in the Men's Snowboard SuperPipe finals at the Euro X-Games in Tignes, France.
Vito's final run included four consecutive double corks and a massive 1260 on his last hit. He's the only snowboarder in the world that can land four double corks in a row. The U.S. native was rewarded with a 94.33 and solidified his position as one of the top halfpipe riders in the world. Fellow American Shaun White took home the Gold Medal. White put together a nearly flawless first run that scored a 98. Iouri Podladt hikov (I-Pod) earned the Bronze Medal with an 88.
This was Vito's 4th Winter X Games medal having won the gold last year. Vito continues to be a model of consistency. He has now podiumed in an unprecedented 17 of his last 20 pro superpipe competitions since the Olympics and 8 of 9 contests this year.
Earlier this year he captured his second consecutive Dew Tour Overall Championship and his 4th U.S. Grand Prix Overall Title.
