December 18th. 2009 – Neff Headwear athletes Louie Vito and Scotty Lago will compete in this years US Olympic Team Qualifiers. The first event was held December 10-12th at Copper Mountain and was an amazing start for the Neff riders with Vito placing second. Vito throw back to back doubles which was a first for him in any competition. "I've got a few different spins I'm going to mix up, but I just want to keep it consistent. I was already in, which was all I cared about," Vito said. "I think Shaun felt the same way. It's always practice and you've just got to step it up, take it up another notch and just get ready for tomorrow." As current contenders for the US Olympic Team, Vito and Lago will be battling it out in the five-event qualifying series ending in Park City on January 23, 2010, where the US Olympic Snowboard team will be announced.
