Do you remember your first day snowboarding? It was Christmas day under 24 hours after I got my first shred-stick. My mom drove me to the nearest hill where all the kids played at and I just hiked for hours crashing straight lines because I couldn’t turn.
What drives you to be a pro rider? Since I watched the first snowboard video I got a hold of it was all I dreamed about. To be able to do what those guys did. They where just pushing it so much doing all these crazy tricks that I wanted to learn. I think that’s what still drives me too, just learning new things all the time and pushing my self.
Who do you look up to in snowboarding? Hah, too many to mention.. Travis Rice, MFM, Andreas Wiig, Travis Parker and Terje, too mention a few. But also a lot of the young guys you know.. I get inspiration from a lot of people.
Who do you look up to in life? Pretty much the same guys I mention above, plus Matt Stone and Trey Parker!
What are your goals for this upcoming season? Stay on my feet and learn new tricks, go to and ride new places. I´m gonna be filming and doing a lot of contests too so hopefully that goes good.
What’s the greatest snowboard trip you have been on and why? I went to the interior BC Canada for a Heli Trip a couple years ago, I think that was my first real Pow trip and it was a mindblower for me, so sick!
What has snowboarding taught you? Ahh man, that’s hard.. not to take everything so seriously maybe.
What would we find in your refrigerator right now? Jalapenos.
If someone wrote a biography about you what do you think the title should be? Video gamer to pro snowboarder. Hehe..
What is a better feeling, mid trick or landing? mid trick.
Who in your opinion is coming up in the snow scene? Just saw this online video of this swedish kid Kevin Backstrom, pretty sick. There´s a lot of them on the come up right now tho.
